Romanians have a long history of being seen in a negative light by foreigners. ROM, the national Romanian chocolate bar, packed in the national colors, wanted to change this. On the 1st of December we launched Rombot – the first artificial intelligence ambassador of Romania, which pretty much makes it the first virtual ambassador of any country in the world. In the first phase, we invited 19 million Romanians to give voice to Rombot by teaching him how to speak to the world about our country. In the second phase, he will be ready to answer to all the world’s question about Romania, turning all citizens in unbiased, real-life ambassadors for their own country.
